Why We Exist

In Tokyo,we wanted to preserve the sweetness of the season.

Strawberry blossom at Fuchu Strawberry Picking Farm — the start of the season
We did not want people to give up on seasonal strawberries just because they live in the city.

In a city like Tokyo, chances to feel close to the season's harvest seem to grow fewer each year. We have continued farming here in Bubaigawara for so long because we wanted to preserve that sweet sense of seasonality even in the middle of Tokyo.

Close to the station, easy for the whole family, and not dependent on the weather. Beyond that simple kind of convenience, we want to offer an experience that stays in your memory. That is why we are committed to being both reservation-only and fully covered.

Not just a place to sell strawberries,
but a place that enriches a family's day.

Our Values

The three things
we keep protecting.

Variety, space, and a relaxed pace. Only when these three come together does strawberry picking become a true experience.

01 — Taste of Balance

A berry with just the right balance of sweetness and acidity.

Our main variety is Yumenoka. Its balanced sweetness, refreshing acidity, and rich aroma make it a berry you never tire of. Being able to pick it at peak ripeness is one of the pleasures unique to strawberry picking. Go ahead and look for that one perfect berry you can only taste here.

02 — All-Weather Comfort

Warmth at the center, even on rainy or cold days.

Because the farm is fully covered, light clothing is fine even in midwinter. The walkways have few steps and are easy to navigate for children, older guests, and visitors with strollers. It is a place that frees you from the stress of wondering whether the weather will ruin your plans.

03 — Calm By Reservation

Because it is reservation-only, you can take your time.

We adjust the number of guests according to how the berries are ripening that day. That way, you do not arrive to find the experience over, and you do not lose the chance to savor the fruit because it is too crowded. With 30 minutes of all-you-can-eat picking and unlimited condensed milk, you can take your time with each berry.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of place is Fuchu Strawberry Picking Farm?

We are a fully covered strawberry-picking farm in Fuchu, Tokyo, just an 8-minute walk from Bubaigawara Station. Centered on the Yumenoka variety, known for its balance of sweetness and acidity, we offer 30 minutes of all-you-can-eat picking with free condensed milk refills. In an airy greenhouse that hardly feels like central Tokyo, you can take your time and enjoy the feeling of the season.

Why is it reservation-only?

We want to avoid guests arriving only to find that the strawberries are gone, or feeling rushed in a crowded space. By adjusting the number of visitors to match how much fruit is ready each day, we can keep the experience relaxed and make sure everyone gets to enjoy high-quality berries. That is why we continue to operate by reservation only.

What kinds of strawberries do you grow?

Our main variety is Yumenoka. It offers a lively aroma and a pleasing balance of sweetness and acidity, which makes comparing berries especially enjoyable. Because the flavor changes with the season and the weather, the strawberries have a slightly different character each time you visit.

Can families with children enjoy it too?

Yes. With walkways that have few level changes and raised growing beds that let you pick comfortably, the farm is easy to enjoy for small children, older guests, and everyone in between. Because the greenhouse stays warm, you can focus on the strawberries even in winter without worrying too much about the cold.

How much time should I plan for?

The strawberry picking itself is a 30-minute all-you-can-eat session. Including check-in, guidance, and payment, please allow about 45 to 60 minutes in total. If you pair your visit with a nearby cafe, it also works well as a half-day outing.

Which pages should I check before booking?

You can check availability on the booking page, directions and travel times on the access page, and clothing, what to bring, and the cancellation policy on the Q&A page. If this is your first visit, reviewing those pages in that order makes things especially smooth.
