Fuchu Strawberry Picking Farm (hereinafter referred to as the "Farm") establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as this "Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal Information" means personal information as defined by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and refers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual through the individual's name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, or other descriptions contained in such information (personal identification information).

  4. When collecting payment-related information associated with reservations from the Farm's partners (including payment service providers and advertising partners; hereinafter referred to as "partners") and others

Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Farm collects and uses personal information are as follows.

  1. To provide and operate the Farm's services
  2. To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification)
  3. To send notices, campaign information, and guidance regarding the Farm's services
  4. To contact users as necessary regarding maintenance, important notices, and similar matters
  5. To identify users who violate the Terms of Use or attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or unjust purposes, and to refuse their use
  6. To bill usage fees based on reservations
  7. For recruitment screening based on job applications, contacting applicants, making hiring decisions, and handling post-hiring procedures
  8. Purposes incidental to the above purposes of use

Article 4 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)

  1. The Farm may change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the changed purpose is related to the previous purpose.
  2. When the purpose of use is changed, the Farm shall notify users of the changed purpose by a prescribed method or announce it on this website.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

  1. The Farm will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent from the user, except in the following cases or when otherwise permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.
    1. When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
    2. When it is especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
    3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency, or a person entrusted by such agency, in carrying out duties prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the individual's consent may interfere with the execution of such duties
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the recipient of the information will not be considered a third party in the following cases:
    1. When the Farm entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
    2. When personal information is provided as a result of business succession due to a merger or other reason
    3. When personal information is jointly used with a specific person, and the person has been informed in advance, or has been placed in a state where they can easily know, of that fact, the items of personal information jointly used, the scope of the parties jointly using the information, the purpose of use of those parties, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing the personal information

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

  1. When the individual requests disclosure of personal information, the Farm will disclose it to the individual without delay. However, all or part of the information may not be disclosed if disclosure falls under any of the following cases, and if a decision not to disclose is made, the individual will be notified of that decision without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for each disclosure request.
    1. When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party
    2. When there is a risk of causing significant hindrance to the proper conduct of the Farm's business
    3. When disclosure would otherwise violate laws and regulations
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information, will in principle not be disclosed.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

  1. If the user's own personal information held by the Farm is incorrect, the user may request the Farm to correct, add, or delete the personal information (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Farm.
  2. If the Farm determines that it is necessary to respond to the request described in the preceding paragraph, it shall correct the relevant personal information without delay.
  3. If the Farm makes a correction, etc. pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or decides not to make such correction, it shall notify the user without delay.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information)

  1. If the individual requests suspension of use or deletion of personal information (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use, etc.") on the grounds that the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or was obtained by wrongful means, the Farm shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
  2. Based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding paragraph, if the Farm determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, it shall suspend the use, etc. of the relevant personal information without delay.
  3. If the Farm suspends the use, etc. of the personal information pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or decides not to do so, it shall notify the user without delay.
  4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if suspension of use, etc. would involve excessive cost or is otherwise difficult to carry out, and if alternative measures necessary to protect the user's rights and interests can be taken, the Farm shall take such alternative measures.

Article 9 (Cookies and Access Analytics)

  1. The Farm uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. Cookies are small data files sent from a web server to the user's browser and stored on the user's computer.
  2. The purposes for which the Farm uses cookies are as follows.
    1. To improve convenience and provide functions on this website
    2. To analyze usage of this website and improve services
    3. To deliver advertisements and measure their effectiveness
    4. To prevent unauthorized use and spam
  3. The Farm uses Google Analytics, an access analytics tool provided by Google LLC.
